Official ONS data on public sector employment has confirmed a mixed picture across different regions and sectors. This is consistent with the REC’s Report on Jobs data which shows that expenditure cuts are starting to impact on employment opportunities in the public sector.

The REC has been invited to this evening’s roundtable meeting with the Immigration Minister, Damian Green. The Minister will be outlining the Governments plans for future immigration policy and inviting feedback from major business organisations and other interested parties.
